Job summary

FYidoctors Kootenay Optometry – Trail and FYidoctors Castlegar clinics invite you to join as a Patient Services Specialist. You will deliver exceptional service, greet patients, handle check-ins/outs, coordinate appointments and assist with billing in a fast-paced optometry setting.

The role is full-time (30-40 hours/week), with clinic hours Monday to Friday, offering opportunities for bonuses, benefits and growth within a leading eyecare provider.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with technology and computers including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/out patients, engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and minor repairs/adjustments.
• Deliver excellent patient service and positive experiences.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as required.
