FYidoctors - Grande Prairie clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service, welcome patients, manage check-in/out, and support eye-care operations.

You will coordinate appointments, assist with pre-testing, billing, and eyewear pickups, while ensuring a positive patient experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This full-time role offers ongoing training and growth opportunities.

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs/adjustments on eyewear.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.

Our FYidoctors - Grande Prairie clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
