Job summary

Paladin Security Group is seeking a dedicated Patient Watch Security Officer for on-site work in Drumheller, Alberta. You will provide vigilant safety monitoring in hospital settings, protecting patients, staff, and visitors while upholding strict confidentiality.

The role includes comprehensive paid training and opportunities for growth. You will work 12-hour shifts (0700–1900 or 1900–0700), travel to nearby facilities, and benefit from health coverage, paid vacation, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License or access to a vehicle.
• Open availability for 12-hour day and overnight shifts, weekends, and on demand calls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Observe designated patients continuously to protect safety and privacy.
• Promptly report changes in patient condition or security concerns to staff.
• Use verbal de-escalation to maintain a safe environment for all.
• Maintain logs of patient interactions and incidents with basic software and radios.
• Remain alert during 12-hour shifts and travel to regional facilities as assigned.
