The Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) is a certified individual who performs direct care in the department setting. The PCA II maintains a current certification in patient care and assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the RN, ensuring activities do not distract from primary responsibilities such as dysrhythmia monitoring.

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from $18.90 to $28.01, depending on experience, education, credentials, and other factors.
