Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) to join the Lodge 7 - CC team at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg. The role supports patient/resident care under supervision.

The position is in-person, requires 7.75 hours per day across day and night shifts including weekends, with a 0.50 FTE, and an indefinite-term arrangement.

Applicants must have Grade XII, an HCA certificate, and will be assessed for initiative, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Grade XII or equivalent and Health Care Aide Certificate are required.
• Experience in a relevant clinical area is preferred.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient/resident care and provides basic supportive care as directed.
• Follows health and safety regulations and uses PPE as required.
• Notifies supervisor of injuries, illnesses or safety concerns and participates in interdisciplinary teamwork.
