Job description

We are looking for Pastry Technicians to join our Pastry team! Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour. The enhanced rate applies for hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00, and for hours exceeding 37.5 per week.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30, with 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks. Start and finish times may occasionally change to meet the needs of the business, so flexibility regarding working hours is required.

Our Pastry Technicians are passionate and committed to creating high-quality, award-winning pastry and expertly preparing pastry bases for our handcrafted product lines. As an essential part of our business, our Pastry colleagues have opportunities to enhance their skills through external Pastry technology courses, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation and craftsmanship.

Your attention to detail will ensure we meet the standards set by our diverse customer base. You will follow precise recipes to maintain our commitment to excellence and operate large bakery equipment. This role is fast-paced, physically active, and requires being on your feet for most of your shift.
