Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Parts Person Lead at our Mississauga Peterbilt location to oversee daily parts operations, front counter duties, and inventory control. You will guide Parts personnel, coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehousing, and ensure accuracy and customer service standards.

The role reports to the Parts Manager and requires 3–5 years in parts operations, strong inventory knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Parts operations.
• Strong knowledge of parts inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or dealership management systems.
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory activities to ensure accurate parts operations.
• Ensure incoming parts are received, stored, and organized according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse, yard, and storage areas while ensuring equipment remains in safe working condition.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, receiving issues, and problem orders in a timely manner.
• Support the parts return process and assist with annual physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist internal and external customers by providing timely and accurate parts support and resolving customer inquiries professionally.
• Work closely with the Service and Sales Departments to ensure parts are available and delivered to meet operational requirements.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and training to Parts personnel while promoting safe and efficient work practices.
• Support the Parts Manager by monitoring compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with workflow coordination and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance departmental performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person Lead for our Mississauga Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the parts department, and performs duties associated with the front counter and with maintaining parts inventory

This position is responsible for supporting the Parts Manager in the daily operation of the Parts Department by coordinating workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

The Parts Person Lead provides day-to-day guidance to Parts personnel, helps maintain efficient shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations, and supports inventory control while ensuring departmental standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.

What We Look For

• Strong knowledge of parts inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and support a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
