Job summary

Steele Auto Group's Humber Ford in Corner Brook is seeking a dedicated Parts Shipper/Receiver to help keep our Parts Department running smoothly on a daily basis.

You will receive deliveries, verify bills of lading and invoicing, stock shelves, locate parts, handle returns, and support special orders with accuracy and safety. A positive attitude and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
• Comfort with manual handling in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify bills of lading and invoicing, prepare outgoing shipments.
• Clean and restock department while following safety protocols.
• Distribute and locate parts in collection bins and inventory system.
• Receipt and shelve stock orders/returns in inventory system.
• Process returns to manufacturers and suppliers; manage special orders.

Wage: based on knowledge, skills and experience

What You'll Do:

• Receiving deliveries, verifying bills of lading and invoicing, prepares outgoing shipments
• Clean and re-stock department as required, adhering to safety protocols
• Distributes and locates parts into collection bins, determining location for new stock items
• Receipts and shelves all stock orders / returns in inventory system
• Implements all returns to the manufacturer and other suppliers
• Implements proper order and follow up system for special orders, comebacks, etc
• Handles all authorized replaced warranty parts each month
• Ensures shipping / receiving area is locked at end of day
• Other duties as required to support the department

What You Bring:

• Previous automotive experience would be considered an asset but not required
• Ability to lift 50-80lbs
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• An eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail.
