Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Saskatoon is seeking a Parts Person at our Peterbilt dealership. You will assist customers in finding parts, provide pricing info, and process online orders, while supporting warehouse inventory duties.

You will work with the Parts Manager to ensure accurate documentation and efficient service, lifting up to 50 lbs and using Excel and other computer systems. This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in the parts industry preferred.
• Solid parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
• Journeyperson Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and materials in the warehouse and yard.
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required.
• Place inventory stock orders.
• Make inventory and bin adjustments.
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
• Other duties as required.

We are currently seeking a Parts Person to join our Peterbilt dealership in Saskatoon Peterbilt. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
• Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset
• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade
• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
