Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Parts Person for our Peterbilt dealership in Lloydminster, SK. The role involves helping customers locate parts, providing pricing, and processing online orders. You will support warehouse operations and inventory duties to strengthen the Parts Business.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will work closely with the service team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Prior parts/warehousing knowledge and a strong work ethic are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving abilities to assist customers and diagnose needs.
• Excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships in-person and over the phone.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Aide customers in finding necessary parts and provide pricing information.
• Unload, receive, and store incoming parts in warehouse and yard.
• Locate parts and ship to customers and other branches; assist branch service technicians as needed.
• Place inventory stock orders and perform bin/inventory adjustments.
• Document all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information accurately.
• Operate warehouse equipment and computer systems to manage parts data.
• Fulfill other duties as required by the Parts Manager.

Description

We are currently seeking a Parts Person to join our Peterbilt dealership in Lloydminster Peterbilt.The Parts Person isresponsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders.The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Problem solving
• Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required

What We Look For

• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
• Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset
• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade
• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
