Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Ayr, Ontario is seeking a Parts Person to support our Peterbilt dealership. You will help customers find parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while maintaining warehouse inventory and assisting service technicians.

You will report to the Parts Manager and collaborate with branches to ensure accurate stocking, timely shipping, and excellent customer service. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility for peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred.
• Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
• Experience in the Heavy Duty Truck, fabrication or manufacturing industry is an asset but not required.
• Effective Customer Service skills and able to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person.
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons; including working shift, weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills required.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment safely.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials.

• Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required.
• Place inventory stock orders.
• Make inventory and bin adjustments.
• Document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
• Other duties as required.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Parts Person to join our Peterbilt dealership in Ayr, Ontario. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders.

The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.
