Job description

Reporting to the Director of Parts, the Parts Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the TRP Store in West Saint John, including but not limited to:

1. Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs and optimize inventory turns.
2. Overseeing shipping and receiving.
3. Evaluating and recommending parts based on customer information.
4. Generating sales leads through calls and onsite visits.
5. Performing inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
6. Generating quotes and completing customer orders.
7. Explaining warranty coverage and assisting with warranty claims.
8. Following all policies and procedures outlined by management and maintaining a professional, safe workplace.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty truck automotive industry.
• High level of product and technical knowledge.
• Strong team player with a commitment to customer service.
• Self-motivated and proactive in sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work Saturday mornings on a shared rotation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
