Job summary

MANCON is seeking a Parts Specialist I to provide counter service and assist with inventory control, data entry, and customer service in Halifax, Canada. The role may involve driving a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts and supporting warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license with two years of driving experience, plus at least one year in auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts, and the ability to obtain a forklift license. This role pays CAD 13.00–CAD 22.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and at least 2 years driving experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts.
• Willingness to be on-call 24 hours during emergencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and counter assistance.
• Assist with inventory control and data entry in inventory systems.
• Review requisition forms for accuracy (signatures, part numbers, descriptions).
• Drive to designated locations to pick up parts and handle vendor invoices.

24-hour availability during emergency
