Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres in Saanichton, BC is seeking a Parts Driver to be the face of the company, delivering parts with exceptional service and professionalism. You will ensure on‑time deliveries to customers, service departments, and vendors while representing the Velocity brand in every interaction.

When not on the road, you will assist the warehouse team with shipping, receiving, and parts organization and help keep the fleet clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Delivery or warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Forklift experience is an asset and training is provided.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts.
• Represent Velocity Truck Centres professionally to customers and vendors.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate a forklift when needed (training provided).
• Pick, stock, and organize parts to maintain an efficient workspace.
• Identify and locate various heavy‑duty truck parts accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep checks.
• Follow all provincial and company safe driving standards.
• Support shipping and receiving when not on delivery runs.

Type: Fulltime Permanent

Shift: Monday to Friday

Location: Saanichton, BC

Position Overview:

As a Parts Driver, you will be more than just a driver - you will be the face of Velocity Truck Centres for many of our customers. This role is all about delivering exceptional service while ensuring our customers and service departments receive the parts they need, on time and with professionalism. You will handle the prompt and safe delivery and pickup of parts to and from customers, vendors, and other branches, while representing our brand in every interaction. When not on the road, you will support the warehouse team with shipping, receiving, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts across the area
• Be a positive, professional representative of Velocity Truck Centres to customers and vendors
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Operate a forklift when needed (training provided)
• Pick, stock, and organize parts to maintain an efficient work area
• Identify and locate various heavy-duty truck parts accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep checks
• Follow all provincial and company safe driving standards
• Support the shipping and receiving team when not on delivery runs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Previous driving or warehouse experience is an asset
