Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to navigate Edmonton and surrounding area effectively.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to use basic systems.
  • Experience with parts inventory systems is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors.
  • Pick up parts and equipment as coordinated with Parts Manager and staff.
  • Complete delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures.
  • Unload truck each night.
  • Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
  • Maintain professional appearance of the parts department.

Love driving and being on the move? The Parts Delivery Driver is a crucial position responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of automotive parts to customers and internal departments. This role plays a key part in ensuring that the right parts reach their destination promptly, contributing to the overall efficiency of the dealership's parts operations. The purpose of this position is to uphold a high standard of customer service, support internal departments, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the parts delivery process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager and Parts Counterpeople before leaving
  • Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient's signature
  • Unload truck each night
  • Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
  • Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and organized
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Proven track record to efficiently and safely navigate Edmonton and surrounding area
  • Technology savvy
  • Experience with parts inventory systems is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Professional personal appearance
