Job summary

Auto Electric Service Ltd. invites an experienced Inside Parts Counter and Warehouse Team Member to join our Weyburn location. You will greet customers, offer parts recommendations, and process transactions with precision at the counter and in the warehouse.

You will also manage order preparation, inventory checks, and stock replenishment while maintaining safety and organization across store, counter, and yard areas. A strong customer focus and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within automotive/retail is desirable.
• Automotive knowledge or background is an asset.
• Experience in industrial, agriculture, or paint products is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking, and adaptability are required.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter in a friendly, service-focused manner.
• Sell parts, prepare quotes, and advise on product options and compatibility.
• Process transactions using POS systems; handle returns and warranty items.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
• Inspect inventory for damage, shortages, or discrepancies; report issues.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and accurate records.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, per safety procedures.
• Participate in merchandising and visual displays to improve product presentation.
• Maintain clean, organized store, counter, warehouse, and exterior areas.
• Stay up to date on new products and company promotions.

• Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, debit, and credit; handle returns and warranty items.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, and follow all safety and loss-prevention procedures.
• Participate in merchandising and visual displays to enhance product presentation and accessibility.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient store, counter, warehouse, and exterior areas.
• Stay up to date on new products, industry developments, and company promotions.
