Summary

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Parts Counter Sales/Materials & Logistics for our Fort St. John location.

This position will report to the Sales & General Manager, Peace Region.

Role and Responsibilities

The duties of this position will consist primarily of phone and counter customer interaction and materials handling. After-hours parts on-call duties will also be required.

• Support customer phone call and walk-in traffic; picking customer orders
• Daily expediting of open Purchase Orders
• Data entry
• Filing of orders, purchase orders, and other items as necessary
• Handling of incoming, outgoing, and internal deliveries
• Coordination, scheduling and management of the 7/24 on-call parts rotation
• (on-call approximately 120-150 days per year)
• Coordinate repair returns, warranty confirmation, and tracking
• Conduct scheduled stock counts, inventory management
• Physical and computerized management of all stock/vendor returns and non-returnable stock
• Coordinating with our Safety team for distribution of safety supplies

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma required
• Forklift operation experience an asset, but not required (training will be provided)
• Mechanical aptitude/interest is an asset, but not required
• Computer skills (MS Office)
• Excellence in customer service
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
• Proven organization, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
• Detail-oriented
• Entrepreneurial work ethic
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license
• Must be physically capable of lifting to 50 lbs.
• This position has been deemed as safety sensitive – successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test
