Job summary

Maxim Truck & Trailer Brandon is seeking a customer-focused parts professional to grow sales, identify parts, process orders, and manage inquiries. You will support stock levels, assist in inventories, and help customers select the right parts for fleet maintenance.

We are a progressive team that values problem solving, learning, and building relationships with customers. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may require occasional shifts; training on in-house systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of heavy-duty truck & trailer parts experience preferred
• 2+ years in front line sales and customer service
• Prior parts sourcing or purchasing experience is an asset
• Customer service focus & ability to build relationships
• Able to up-sell products to customers
• Strong numbers orientation, attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn in-house systems
• Knowledge of Karmak business system preferred
• Team player, initiative, and a quick learner
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Mechanical aptitude from automotive/truck experience is an asset
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Sells parts to customers, identifies parts, takes orders, invoices, bills freight, and collects payment.
• Inputs lost sales into Karmak system.
• Increases sales by up-selling and advising on product applications.
• Stocks shelves, maintains counter/store area, and supports inventories.
• Sources parts by phoning suppliers and competitors; seeks technical information.
• Accepts returned goods for credit.
