Job summary

Major Refrigeration Ltd. in Grimsby, Ontario, is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support technicians and office staff by sourcing and ordering parts, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are ready when needed.

The role requires organization, initiative, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment. A Monday–Friday schedule with standard daytime hours, plus flexibility, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with others.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Parts Department/technicians on parts needed.
• Prepare purchase orders, using third party software, and order parts.
• Enter receipts and parts information into software to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure service orders are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

The Position

The ideal candidate will be focused, dependable, and an organized Parts Coordinator who keeps our team moving forward. This role is about efficiency, follow-through, and clear communication. This position supports our technicians and office employees by sourcing and ordering the required parts, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are ready when needed.

A willingness to learn and improve is important, as is the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Parts Department/technicians on parts needed
• Prepare purchase orders, using third party software, and order parts
• Enter receipts and parts information into software to maintain inventory accuracy
• Ensure service orders are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner

  Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in an Administrative or similar position
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with others
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn new skills and software
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm
