Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, the Parts Coordinator assists the Maintenance Planner with all warehouse inventory responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to, stocking of maintenance materials and supplies, inventory control and records, and related duties as required.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS / ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receive parts physically and sign the pack slips
- Check if the received parts match with the PO and address any discrepancies
- Update CMMS with the received parts
- Inform (preferably by email and verbal communication) the requesters when receiving not stock items
- Store received parts as soon as they are entered in CMMS
- Segregate, disposal, and remove from CMMS obsolete parts
- Locate and segregate parts assigned to Work Orders as needed
- Stage weekend work with WO and parts to be used on the appropriate carts
- Help tradesmen to locate parts in the stockrooms, mainly during breakdowns
- Add new spare parts into the stockrooms as needed
- Audit daily the stockrooms, minimum 1 full shelf per day
- Collect the sign out sheets from the stockrooms, verify the use of the part, update CMMS accordingly
- Ensure the stockrooms are kept organized and clean
- Ensure the store locations are labeled properly and match with the location in CMMS following the Nomenclature SOP and any governing body (BRC, SQF etc.)
- Work in conjunction with buyer to help determine the appropriate Min / Max levels for parts
- Inform the buyer of parts reaching the Minimum levels for re-order
- Cross train as a buyer for succession planning and vacation coverage

QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma
- Technical background preferably in mechanical or maintenance fields
- Must have purchasing experience
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- 3-5 years of experience working in a Maintenance environment preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS :
- Majority of time spent in stock rooms with occasional office environment and Kill or Cut floors as needed. May be required to travel to Company Distribution Center in Cambridge as well. Weekend work may be required.
