Job summary

Camions Excellence Peterbilt in Sherbrooke, QC, seeks a Parts Clerk for the day shift to serve mechanics and manage parts inventory.

The role offers a Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule with comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance, disability and life coverage, travel insurance, Telemedicine, RRSP, tuition reimbursement and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a parts clerk in a heavy vehicle environment.
• Knowledge of heavy truck mechanics is advantageous.
• DEP heavy trucks or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Bilingual in French and English is required or highly valued.
• Versatile, responsible with good teamwork and tech comfort.

Responsibilities

• Serve mechanics and provide the necessary parts.
• Take inventory of parts on hand.
• Assist the dispatch team to ship parts for delivery.

Concretely, in this position you will take care of:

• Serve the mechanics and provide them with the necessary parts;
• Take inventory of parts;
• Help the expedition to get the parts out for delivery;

Experience, training and skills that would be very useful

• 3+ years of experience as a parts clerk (in a heavy vehicle dealership, an advantage);
• Knowledge of heavy truck mechanics (Asset);
