Job summary

Foss Group of Companies – Roy Foss Aurora Chrysler is seeking a Parts Advisor to support our parts department, assist retail customers, wholesale accounts, and service technicians with expert knowledge and high-energy service.

You will identify and order the correct parts, handle phone inquiries, process orders and payments, and maintain stock levels while following dealership guidelines. Join Foss and grow with a team that values integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of automotive parts experience required.
• Experience using a DMS (Reynolds & Reynolds is an asset).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select parts and provide high-quality service for retail, wholesale, and internal service teams.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and other information as needed.
• Take part orders via phone, counter, or wholesale accounts.
• Receive payments from retail customers.
• Handle customer concerns per dealership guidelines.
• Stock items and manage inventory; ensure safety and accuracy.
• Deliver parts to wholesale accounts.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Parts Manager.

About The Current Open Role

Roy Foss Aurora Chrysler is looking for a Parts Advisor to be the backbone of our parts department, supporting retail customers, wholesale accounts, and our internal service technicians with expert knowledge and high-energy service.

What We're Looking For

• Efficiently helpcustomers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail andshop) with high quality service; identifying and ordering the correct parts
• Answer telephonecalls, provide price quotes any other information needed
• Take orders forparts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
• Receive paymentsfrom retail customers
• Handle customerconcerns immediately and according to the dealerships guidelines.
• Stock items byunpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjustinginventory system and assuring all safety risks
• Manage inventoryand maintain stock levels
• Delivery of partsto wholesale accounts
• Other duties asassigned by the Parts Manager

What You'll Bring

• At least 1 year ofAutomotive Parts experience
• Experience using aDMS – Reynolds and Reynolds in particular is an asset
• Excellentinterpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
• Strong verbalcommunication and writing skills
• Organized with astrong attention to detail
• Ability to followset and standard procedures
• Excellent timemanagement skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to workindependently and take self-initiative
• Basic computerskills and a comfort with learning new software and systems
• Strong knowledgeof automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
