Job summary

CanadaOne Auto Group Inc. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Parts Advisor to support both internal staff and customers with parts requests, ensuring accuracy from the first lookup.

The role involves inventory control, stocking parts orders, and processing backorders using the DMS system. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a minimum high school diploma, and prior Parts Advisor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure correct parts are obtained.
• Identify correct parts and locate them in inventory or order the requested part.
• Maintain and track parts inventory and accessories.
• Assist in receiving and stocking parts orders and monitor backorders.
• Use DMS to look up and monitor parts requests and record parts disbursed per repair order.
• Maintain filing system for paperwork related to repair orders, special orders and back orders.

(Location) is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Parts Advisor assists internal and external customers with parts requests to ensure that the correct part is obtained the first time. This includes identifying correct parts and locating them in inventory or ordering the requested part. The Parts Advisor also assists in the operations of the Parts Departments by maintaining and tracking the parts inventory and accessories. Assists in receiving and stocking parts orders, records and monitors backorders, uses DMS to look up and monitor parts requests, recording parts disbursed per repair order. Maintains proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back order.

Candidates must possess:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Previous Parts Advisor experience preferred
