Second Harvest is seeking a Partner Relations Coordinator to support and strengthen its network of non-profit partners across Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga. You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage partner inquiries, and help ensure annual compliance processes.

You will collaborate with internal teams and partners, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive partner experience while supporting national operations in a hybrid work environment.

The Role:

As the Partner Relations Coordinator (Toronto), you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening Second Harvest's network of non-profit partners across Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager (Toronto), you will build and maintain strong partner relationships, deliver exceptional customer service, and serve as a trusted point of contact for our non-profit partner network.

As a trusted ambassador for Second Harvest, you will collaborate closely with partners and internal teams to support partner success, address inquiries and concerns, and ensure a positive and consistent partner experience. You will also support the annual compliance process, helping to maintain accurate records and ensure partners meet Second Harvest's terms and conditions.

This position requires strong relationship-building skills, exceptional customer service, diligence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both partners and internal stakeholders in support of Second Harvest's mission.

Your Impact:

Partner Relations & Customer Excellence:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with non-profit partners across Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for Second Harvest, ensuring a positive and consistent partner experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through timely, professional, and solution-focused support.
  • Respond to partner inquiries, support tickets, and Food Rescue App-related questions from partners and donors.
  • Ensure first responses to partner and app inquiries are provided within two business days.
  • Function as a liaison between non-profit partners and Second Harvest Operations, advocating for partner needs while supporting organizational objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve partner and app-related issues, escalating concerns and recommendations to the Senior Operations Manager as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.

Partner Audits & Compliance:

  • Coordinate and support the annual compliance audit process for Second Harvest's non-profit partner locations across Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga.
  • Ensure audit records, documentation, and partner information are complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Schedule and conduct audit calls with partners, professionally representing Second Harvest and gathering all required information.
  • Monitor compliance requirements and follow up with partners to ensure completion of outstanding actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, procedures, and documentation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to support the integrity of partner records and compliance activities.

Operational Support:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and support tickets related to partner services and operational inquiries.
  • Support partner communications, outreach initiatives, and operational projects as required.
  • Perform administrative and operational duties that contribute to the overall success of the National Operations team.
  • Provide back-up support for the National Operations team during vacations, leaves, and peak operational periods.

  • Experienced: Experience in a client-facing, administrative, compliance, non-profit, community services, or food sector environment is considered an asset.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with data entry, record-keeping systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency with CRM software and project tracking tools are an asset.
