Job summary

Leon’s Furniture is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver furniture and appliances to customers’ homes. You will load/unload cargo, set up select items, and ensure a professional, friendly experience while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, a valid license, and strong interpersonal skills. Prior furniture/appliance delivery experience is a plus, and there are benefits, growth opportunities, and a stable company

• Ability to lift and handle heavy goods with care.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the delivery truck carefully.
• Safely deliver products to customers’ homes.

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items

• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. Requirements

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)
• Your positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills

Compensation

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
