Leon's Furniture is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver to handle heavy cargo with care. You’ll be the final link between our company and customers, delivering furniture and assisting in-home assembly where needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck (preferred).
• Previous furniture/appliance delivery experience is a bonus.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carefully load and unload the delivery truck.
• Safely deliver products into customers’ homes.
• Set up and assemble items as needed.
• Removal of packaging materials.
• Return approved merchandise.
• Provide professional, friendly and efficient delivery service.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)
• Your positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Your integrity and your desire to succeed

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
