Job summary

The Yonge Street Mission (YSM) is seeking a Logistics & Operations Assistant for the annual Toy Market in Toronto. This 6-week, part-time role supports planning and delivery, coordinating toy donations, pickups, deliveries, inventory movement, and event setup across Martin Centre and Davis Centre.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in event logistics, strong organization and communication skills, and are comfortable with Google Workspace. The role pays $23.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in event coordination, logistics, community programming, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate toy donation pickups/drop-offs with donors and notify YSM teams.
• Assist in loading, transportation, unloading, and inventory movement of toys and materials between locations.
• Maintain donation, pickup, delivery, and inventory records and update shared spreadsheets.
