You will manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general accounting tasks. The position offers part-time hours with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and compliance, in a friendly retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience or formal accounting education.
• Strong understanding of inter-related work processes and ability to adapt to different assignments.
• Proficient with MS Excel and basic computer skills to prepare documentation.

Responsibilities

• Verify invoices and process payments for accounts payable.
• Record and reconcile accounts receivable with front-end systems.
• Maintain AR aging and follow up on collections.
• Process payroll and ensure biweekly payroll accuracy.
• Review period-end tasks, prepare period end binder.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit controls and health/safety regs.
• Complete FPO webforms and reconcile balance sheets.
