Job summary

Giant Tiger in Marieville, QC is seeking a Store Associate (Part-Time) to provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout and throughout the sales floor.

You will manage cash register transactions, merchandise replenishment, planograms and signage, markdowns, and policy compliance while upholding safety standards and loss prevention.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts with growth opportunities and a store discount plan for employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions on electronic cash register, mainline, and self-checkouts (SCOs).
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
