Job summary

Giant Tiger is seeking a part-time Store Associate to deliver friendly, efficient customer service at the checkout and sales floor. You will accurately process transactions, replenish merchandise, and uphold planograms and pricing standards.

The role includes rotating shifts (days/evenings), with a 35–40 hour weekly expectation for full-time or up to 24 hours for part-time, plus benefits and growth opportunities. A supportive team environment and competitive compensation are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep checkout work area clean and organized.
• Apply Loss prevention best practices.
