Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Specialty Pharma Nurse - Registered Nurse to deliver and monitor infusion therapies in home or clinic settings. You will document procedures, manage adverse events, and communicate with supervisors to ensure patient safety.
Role is part-time (15 hours/week) with compensation range $30–$48 per hour. Requires BSN, BLS, ACLS for clinic work, and strong IV skills. Prior acute care and/or home care experience is preferred.
The Specialty Pharma Nurse - Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Specialty Pharma Supervisor and/or Specialty Pharma Nurse Manager, delivers and monitors specialized supervisor, injectable or oral pharmacological treatments in the home and/or clinic setting. The Specialty Pharma Nurse is responsible for monitoring the patient for adverse related reactions (intervening as required), accurately documenting the procedure, and submitting reporting in a timely manner. The Specialty Pharma Nurse - Registered Nurse is expected to maintain effective communication with the Specialty Pharma Supervisor and/or Specialty Pharma Nurse Manager to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Specialized pharmacological training will be provided. This career will allow you to develop a specialty in infusion services with opportunities to engage in learning sessions and participate in clinical trials.
