Job summary

BCAA is hiring three Part-Time Service Advisors for the Burnaby Head Office. You will handle customer inquiries by phone, promote insurance products, and collaborate with underwriting to tailor coverage. After training, you’ll transition to a part-time schedule while continuing to develop your licensing requirements.

You’ll participate in ongoing training, aiming to meet sales goals and provide outstanding service to BC Members, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and personal growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of sales and service experience.
• Level 1 Insurance license (or commitment to secure within 45 days).
• Completion of Autoplan Essentials (or commit to complete within three months).
• Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
• Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Work with customers over the phone to promote BCAA insurance products and services.
• Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend the right coverage.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to support customers’ life events and future needs.
• Work with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
• Maintain licensing requirements and stay up to date with product offerings.

This role is based at our **Burnaby Head Office**.Please note that during the training period, the schedule will be **full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday**. BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.* Completion of Autoplan Essentials (or a commitment to complete within your first three months through BCAA.)
