Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, spot threats, and document incidents across multiple sites in Mississauga. The role emphasizes sharp observation, detail, and clear reporting.

This part-time position requires a valid Ontario security licence, WSIB First Aid/CPR Level C, and the ability to stand and walk for long shifts. Uniforms are provided, and shifts include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalaten in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
