Job summary

First Student is seeking part-time School Bus Drivers in Truro, NS. You will start mornings with pickups and return students after school, with opportunities for field trips and events. No experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.

You’ll drive a morning and afternoon route, Monday to Friday, with no nights, weekends, or summers. Earn hourly pay in a supportive, safety-first environment with strong community impact and employee perks.

Qualifications

• No experience required; expert training and guidance provided.
• Ability to assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid class 5 license for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip / post-trip inspections.
