Transdev (East Ferris Bus Lines) in Ontario is seeking part-time School Bus Drivers to serve Nipissing Student Transportation Service, covering Astorville, Bonfield, Callander, Corbeil, North Bay, Powassan, and Trout Creek.

Qualifications

• Must be safety focused and able to transport students responsibly.
• Hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license; B class preferred.
• Be 21 years or older with a clean driving record.
• Able to obtain a clear criminal record search; knowledge of Nipissing District.
• Ability to work independently and handle split shifts for school transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer service when interacting with students, parents, staff and the public.
• Meet MTO medical standards for a B license.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, the program defined as the most precious cargo.
• Ensure safety during boarding and exiting of buses.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Support bus maintenance and keep buses clean.
