Job summary

COBS Bread in Mission, BC is hiring a part-time bakery associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet the needs of the bakery's patrons. You will work with a small team to promote our fresh products and assist with daily production.

Responsibilities include applying proven sales techniques, merchandising products, and supporting marketing campaigns while keeping the bakery clean. Flexible hours and a fun team atmosphere are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and familiarity with POS transactions preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Work part as a small team, providing an exceptional customer experience, and getting to know your customers and meet their bakery needs.
• Use proven sales techniques to see our fresh high quality product.
• Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns.
• Work alongside team member to keep the bakery clean, and assist with production as needed.

Skills Required:

• You are someone who takes pride in their work, positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• You are reliable, self-motivated, team player who is approachable and likes working with people.
• Relevant retail experience and experience in handling point of sale transactions is a strong asset.

Physical Requirement:

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks with constant use of both hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level.
• Starting wage is $18.25

At this time we are hiring a part-time position. Hours vary and applicant must be willing to cover holidays and sick calls.

Our hours of work are Monday to Sunday 6:30am to 7:30pm. Priority to those applicants with open availability.
