Job summary

FedEx Group in Ontario is seeking a part-time courier to provide courteous pickup and delivery on an assigned route while ensuring shipments meet FedEx Canada service standards and delivering related customer service.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy packages with equipment. Flexibility for varied schedules including holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service and provide related customer service.
