Job summary

The Beer Store in Tillbury, Ontario is hiring part-time Retail Staff to stock shelves, serve customers, and handle transactions. You will maintain store cleanliness, follow health and safety procedures, and perform related duties as needed.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and be at least 18 years old, with a minimum of 1 year of retail experience and weekend availability. The role is in a unionized environment with wages starting at 18.30 CAD per hour.

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEducation

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends
