Job summary

The Beer Store in Mississauga is seeking energetic Part-Time Retail Staff to join our team at 3030 Erindale Station Rd. You will engage customers, process payments, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while following safety procedures.

We value dependable individuals aged 18+, with at least one year of retail experience, who can lift up to 40lbs, stand for long periods, perform basic computer tasks, and work weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and mornings/afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and unload deliveries while keeping the store clean.
• Serve customers daily and process payments in a unionized setting.
• Follow all health, safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Mississauga, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
