Job summary

The Beer Store is hiring part-time Retail Staff for our Kitchener, ON location. You will greet customers, process payments, and help maintain a clean, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Must be able to stand for 2+ hours during a shift.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for one of our Kitchener, Ontario stores. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

Location

A Retail Location at 875 Highland Rd. W., Unit 80, Kitchener, ON.

What You'll Be Doing

• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
