Job summary

Claire’s in Halifax is seeking a part-time sales associate who can engage customers, promote products, and maintain a fun, stylish store environment.

You will assist with inventory, operate a POS system, and participate in piercing services while upholding cleanliness and safety standards. A minimum of one year in retail is preferred, with the ability to work in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience with young or anxious customers.
• Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales.
• Completed some high school and have at least one year of retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Sales Game: Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences and promoting promos.
• Piercing expertise: perform piercings, educate on aftercare and maintain a sterile environment.
• Keep It Fresh: maintain store displays and organized inventory for easy shopping.
• Team Collaboration: support Store Manager, motivate the team, and share sales tips.
• Brand Representation: showcase products and stay updated on fashion trends to boost sales.
• Store Operations: manage inventory, cash handling, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Create Shareable Moments: encourage customers to post their Claire’s hauls on social media.
