Job summary

Corp of the Township of Russell RP0002 is hiring part-time Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) for our Before and After School Program across the St-Jean/La Croisée, Saint-Joseph, and St. Mother Teresa Daycares.

RECE professionals will plan and deliver educational activities that support children's development, health, safety, and well-being while maintaining orderly and engaging program operations.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Early Childhood Education or in the process of obtaining an equivalent qualification through an apprenticeship program
• Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario
• Valid and Negative Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector (within six months)
• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Deliver an educational program including activities geared toward children's development, health, security and well-being
• Ensure professional and efficient management of the programming and activities of the service

Skills

French language proficiency

English language proficiency

Bilingualism is an asset

Education

College diploma in Early Childhood Education

Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario

Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector

First Aid and CPR Level C
