The City of Port Coquitlam is seeking a positive and customer-focused individual to join the Purchasing Division of the Finance Department as a part-time Purchasing Clerk. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the role involves data processing, file maintenance, and administration of purchase orders for various programs and contracts.

This temporary, approximately twelve-month position requires knowledge of purchasing regulations and relevant courses, plus three years of experience and a valid BC

• Knowledge of purchasing rules, regulations and policies governing the work.
• Experience with data processing and document handling.
• Customer service and records management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain relationships with internal and external contacts and provide information and direction.
• Process data and maintain files, records, reports, and related material.
• Handle purchasing tasks including day-to-day administration, program reviews, contracts, and purchase orders.
