Job summary

Otter Co-op is accepting applications for a Part-Time Server at the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, BC. You will greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, process payments, and support food running when needed.

This role requires excellent communication, a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Training includes serving responsibly and maintaining a SAFE working environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience is an asset.
• Beer and wine pairing knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team and independently.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be committed to a safe working environment.
• Physically capable of standing long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages and process payments.
• Food running may be required for designated shifts.
• Maintain a positive attitude and deliver an exemplary guest experience.
• Clean, restock and ensure equipment is sanitized for the next shift.
• Navigate and operate the POS system.
• Contribute to the team and uphold Otter Co-op values: Integrity, Community and Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
