Job summary

CAMH's Gender Identity Service in Toronto is seeking a part-time psychologist to conduct readiness assessments for gender-affirming surgery and provide trans-competent therapeutic services within an inter-professional team.

You will supervise psychology interns and practicum students, participate in training trainees, and may engage in public education activities while contributing to research opportunities. The role supports equity and inclusion in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or D.Psy.) with 3 years clinical experience.
• Experience with gender identity issues and supervision of psychologists in supervised practice.
• Knowledge of WPATH guidelines and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Provide gender-affirming surgical readiness assessments.
• Deliver trans-competent psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and couples.
