Job summary

Jewish Family Services of Ottawa is seeking a Psychologist or Psychological Associate to join The Counselling Group (TCG) and support the continued development and expansion of its psychological and psychoeducational assessment services.

The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision to psychometrists, oversee assessment planning, interpretation, reporting, and diagnostic formulation, and participate in psychotherapy supervision.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the CPBAO, or immediate eligibility.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision of psychometrists and supervise psychotherapy cases.
• Demonstrated experience in psychological and psychoeducational assessments and report review.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to a team of psychometrists.
• Oversee the assessment process: planning, interpretation, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on cases, including differential diagnosis and recommendations.
• Conduct occasional psychological/psychoeducational assessments (WSIB/ODSP related).
• Supervise psychotherapy cases and support treatment planning.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand psychological assessment services.
