Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our home and community care team in North Bay and surrounding Ontario areas. You will support patients in their homes by assisting with daily living activities, meals, and companionship, while maintaining respect and dignity.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, hygiene, and light housekeeping, with travel to patient residences within a defined region.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide daily living assistance with dignity.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, skin/hair/oral care, toileting, and peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to enhance quality of life.
• Travel within geographical area to patient residences for in-home care.
