Job summary

Extendicare Port Hope is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Port Hope Home in Ontario. You will provide direct resident care, assist with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and personal grooming, while upholding dignity and compassionate service.

Part-time or casual opportunities include evening/night shifts, with a retention bonus through PSWROS and a robust benefits package as part of our total rewards. Mentorship and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• PSW certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and personal grooming.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and programs.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families.
