Job description

Part-time Professors - Court Support Services Program

Join to apply for the Part-time Professors - Court Support Services Program role at Fanshawe College.

Fanshawe College is seeking experienced legal professionals to teach part-time in the Court Support Services (COS) program within the School of Public Safety.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Public Safety, part-time professors are responsible for teaching courses and fostering an effective learning environment for students. The position requires work within Ontario and on-campus availability as needed.

Note: These are part-time, temporary faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week), starting September 2, 2025, and ending December 12, 2025.

Location: Fanshawe's main campus, 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd., London, Ontario.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills with a commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse learners
  • Technical proficiency and familiarity with educational technologies
  • Experience with hybrid/online teaching preferred
  • Industry experience, previous college teaching, curriculum design, and student evaluation knowledge are assets
Educational Credentials
  • University degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered
