6Job Description:
Fanshawe College is seeking interested and experienced legal professionals to teach part-time in the Court Support Services (COS) program in the School of Public Safety.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Public Safety, part-time professors are responsible for teaching courses within the Court Support Services program and developing an effective learning environment for students. The successful candidate will be required to perform work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus, as required.
Note: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 2, 2025, and ending December 12, 2025.
Note: These positions are located at Fanshawe's main campus at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd., London, Ontario.
General Qualifications:
Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
Specific Qualifications:
University degree an asset
Minimum 5 years' of recent and relevant industry experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
